It is one of only thirteen schools in Ireland that specifically provide a one to one education to children with Autism through ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis) and other educational techniques. Saplings are partially funded by the Dept. of Education but have a minimum yearly shortfall of 40,000 euros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Established originally through the energy and commitment of a small group of parents and professionals in the Kildare area, Saplings now has 5 schools located in Kill, Rathfarnham, Carlow, Goresbridge and Mullingar and operates as a Patron body to these schools.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Saplings Schools are co-educational specialist schools, providing quality education for pupils with autism and complex needs.
